Purple Tuesday 2019

Purple Tuesday 2019 is an international call to action, focused on changing the customer experience for disabled people. It will involve organisations of all sizes and from all sectors taking decisive, practical actions to meet the needs of disabled customers.

Purple Tuesday invites businesses to get involved by making at least one new commitment to improve the customer service experience for disabled people

Queen Street Shopping Centre will be hosting an information event 11am – 2pm. Drop in and join the conversation with representatives from D.A.D, Alzheimer’s Society, Age UK, Humankind Young Carers, Citizens Advice and more. Pick up a voucher for a free coffee from Porters.

Cornmill Shopping Centre will be giving away Sunflower Lanyards at the management office on Priestgate. The Sunflower Scheme is to help raise awareness of hidden disabilities. Drop in 9am – 4pm.
