Rhythm & Junk Band Workshops

First published: Thursday 08 Aug 2019

Join a Rhythm & Junk Band and come to the FREE workshop sessions taking place on Monday 12 and Thursday 15 August at The Hullabaloo

Please bring something you can shake, bang, click, or grate.

We would love it if you could attend both workshop sessions, but we ask that you attend at least one and be able to perform in Darlington Town Centre on Friday 16th August (details below)

If you can attend both sessions, remember to book your spaces on both dates.

Participants will explore rhythm through improvisation, movement, body percussion, and instruments made from recycled materials with lead artists Hannabiell Sanders and Yilis Del Carmen Suriel from the Ladies of Midnight Blue.

The Rhythm & Junk Band will perform at the Darlo Drum Festival on Friday August 16th in Darlington town centre.

This is a free event but booking is required – grown ups are welcome too!
