The Queen's Jubilee Weekend in Darlington

With just over a week to go, the schedule for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Darlington has been revealed!

Across the weekend (2nd - 4th June), you can expect live music, film screenings and live broadcasts in the Market Square:

Thursday 2nd June

10am: Live broadcast of the Queen’s birthday parade, Trooping of the Colour
1pm: Brothers of Harmony
2pm: Town Crier Proclamation
3:30pm: Mary Poppins screening
7pm: Beatlemania
9pm: Lighting of the Beacon ceremony

Friday 3rd June

11am: Cockerton Prize Silver Band
1pm: Homegrown (UB40 tribute band)
2:45pm: Laura Jane Butler (Amy Winehouse tribute)
4:30pm: Cloneplay (Coldplay tribute)
6:30pm: Subarctic Monkeys (Arctic Monkeys tribute)

Saturday 4th June

11am: Kids Disco Hour
12:30pm: Brass Band
2pm: The Revolutionaires
3:30pm: Discography
4:30pm: Nadia Violin
TBC: Live broadcast of the BBC’s Platinum Party at the Palace
