Last Train Home

Taking over Darlington Hippodrome, The Hullabaloo and The Forum Music Centre and filling them with live music and comedy from regional and national performers, Last Train Home Festival returns to Darlington on Saturday 5th September and is all programmed to finish in time for festival goers to catch the 'last train home'. Music stages featuring genres from rock to pop, neo soul to punk, indie to grime and more, all programmed by Darlington's Tracks, BBC Introducing, NARC magazine plus a sterling comedy line up from Hilarity Bites.

Headliners announced so far include Scotland's Lucia & The Best Boys bringing their indie rock to the Noisy Daughters stage at Hullabaloo. 2026 has so far seen the band collaborate with Cvrches and The Last Dinner Party on their latest singles, with their second album 'Picking Petals' due to be released in July 2026. Headlining The Forum stage are critically acclaimed art-noise punks Benefits. Hailing from Teesside their uncompromising spoken word lyrics, sonic rage, electronic dance wall of sound has seen them tour the globe receiving critical acclaim across national press and radio. Also added to the festival line up are Newcastle's Leazes, Polyvinyl, Risco, Callum Pitt, The Callows, Katie Grace, Labyrinthine Oceans, Wench, Anna Karila and more TBA. The Hilarity Bites Comedy stage will feature Gavin Webster, Silky, The Halls Of Ridiculous, Devin Gray, Maxine Wade, Dawn Bailey, Rob Mullholland, El Purnell, Anna Thomas and the international, multi-award winning Ray Bradshaw. 

Tickets are £25 + booking fee or £30 on the door, Advance group booking discount available, admission policy is 14+ years, any under 18s must be accompanied by a grown up.
