Whether you're a fan of the terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Stegosaurus or the swift-footed Velociraptor, there will be something for everyone in the town centre on Thursday 27 August, from 11am until 3pm. With some extra surprise appearances throughout the day.
Market Square
- Dino Shows at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm
- The Dinosaur Experience with Patrick Townsend
- Oxfam team with dinosaur products
- Fairground Ride x1 (this a charged activity)
Joseph Pease Circle/Queen Street and Cornmill
- T-Rex walkaround at 11:45am, 1:15pm and 2:30pm
Public toilets are available:
- Dolphin Centre - including accessible toilets
- The Market Hall
- The Cornmill Shopping Centre
- Darlington Library
Ear defenders Some people find wearing ear defenders useful when visiting events. * There will be some performances with music at this event.
•There are cycling parking stands surrounding the market square.
•Taxi drivers can drop visitors off at Darlington Market Square.
•Regular trains come to Darlington train station 730m
•Buses travel into the town centre, depending which route your arrive on all bus stops.
